Chinese Web 2.0: yes or no?

From FontShop, via Design Observer:

"Web 2.0 sites nearly always feel open and friendly and often use small
chunks of large type. The colors are bright and cheery — lots of blue,
orange, and what we jokingly call the Official Color of Web 2.0: lime
green."

Does this apply to the Chinese Web2.0?

There’s quite a few lime green logos - but does that mean the Chinese Web 2.0 is copying the Western Web 2.0, or are they simply just a part of it?
